The four things that slow beauty studios down most — and how Keppia handles each.
Give each treatment options and add-ons with their own price and time — a 90-minute facial, an LED add-on — and leave a buffer for cleanup so the next client never waits.
A 90-minute slot is a lot to lose. Take a deposit, save a card as a guarantee, or both — your tiered cancellation policy decides what’s kept.
Offer a follow-up treatment at its own price, only to clients who came in within the window you choose. Keppia checks the date and pairs the two bookings.
Sell a take-home product as an add-on with its own tax rate, take tips, and send the receipt by email — with Tap to Pay on iPhone, a QR code or cash.
Share your booking link or QR code on social media, your website — anywhere clients find you. They pick a service, an option and add-ons, choose an open time and pay a deposit or save a card — while you're busy with someone else.
Clients get a reminder email before their appointment — 24 hours ahead by default, anywhere from 1 to 168 hours, or off.
Each booking can be moved online once, from the Manage booking link in the confirmation email.
Subscribe in Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook, and bookings show up there too. It's a private link — reset it any time from the app.
Every booking wears its status as a color, on the web and in the app. You know what's done, what's next and what needs you — without opening a thing.
The same colors in the Keppia app.
Two separate protections — turn on either one, or both. A deposit is paid when they book and holds the slot. A card guarantee only saves their card, and covers late cancellations and no-shows. Your policy decides what's fair — and your client sees it before they book.
Policy charges $58.00 (50% of the price). Deposit already paid $20.00 is kept and counts toward it. $38.00 will be charged to the card on file. This can't be undone.
Tiers need the card guarantee. With a deposit only, cancelling simply keeps the deposit.
